Space Empires V General
after killing off all visible ground units, my units seem to be caught in a loop and combat doesn't end... only to proceed to the next turn to have to fight off more ground units.
when i look at the enemy cargo, they have a damaged fighter unit. but this unit never enters into ground combat.
i can't remove my units and they are just stuck there to fight combat turn after turn...
any suggestions?

also sugest you land some fighters when you attack planets as they are good for seeing off defending fighters and hunting down damaged ones

attack the planet with ships from space....that way you kill all cargo of the planet. it will kill also your own troops, but it will end the loop of the ground combat.
