Bug? Sometimes a ship that belongs to an other race in a solar system that I have not explored and have no warp connection will join my empire

its just that the only odd thing about this is the fact that the ship can join an empire its never heard off and has no idea where it is.

Nod, I had the same reaction when I was playing a no warp game. Out of the blue, a ship would join me with no discernable reason for joining me. If I would code that particular event, I'd modify it to check if another empire was known and run it based on that.

I don't think this is a bug, but rather a random event that happened to another empire. You were just the lucky recipient of the ship.
