Ok, I'm back from my holiday. Go ahead and release the patch. ;}
SEV, more than a feeling.

While I'm happy to see that it has an official date, I'm sad to see that it's been so long since the last one.

Re: Severe Patchitis
I hope is 1.32 and not 1.31 (more time, more patching.....) LOL

Re: Severe Patchitis
I'm hoping that with an additional week waiting time MM is fixing the memory leak. That has to be the last major bug affecting most people that hasn't been reported fixed in the last 6 build logs. It'll feel like a long wait, but it will definitely be worth it...

Re: Severe Patchitis
You all may want to stone me for say this, but it would be nice to be able to finish a game before the next patch comes out. I'm still playing a game on patch 1.25 and BM 1.03. I hate having to start a new game every time a patch comes out.
And I know most of you are thinking: why start a new game - just continue with your previous game. Well, that would not be a fair assessment of the new patch. Changes in coding could cause bugs from artifacts left by the previous version in an ongoing game. And it would not be fair to bring up these bugs to the modder who may not be able to reproduce those same bugs because he's testing from a new game.
Think about that before you consider raising bugs and wasting the modder's time.
I figure that I'll patch once every two or so months - gives me time to actually finish a game at my leisurely pace and savour the victory.

Re: Severe Patchitis
Any major gameplay issues that are known to be resolved in the next patch, in terms of balancing stuff or the AI and such?

Re: Severe Patchitis
There have been a wide variety of balance adjustments and AI improvements in Stock, just search for the threads with 'Changelog' in their title.

Re: Severe Patchitis
There where I belive a lot of such changes in change log 1.28? indeed as I recall it was a great long change list prety much dedicated to such changes. There have been others in the post 1.25 logs

Nobody forces you to apply a patch, except you got the game from Steam.

Re: Severe Patchitis
I can say i never encountered teh problems you guys have but i would just love to see Immpossible AI in a game or a miltiplayer lobby so we can actually find people and play against them.
