(1.25) System display not updating properly

Submitted by Brad on Thu, 2007-02-22 16:38. Bug Reports

Couldn't find this in the changelogs. The planet icon and status flags aren't being updated properly. For example, if a spaceport or spaceyard is built, the status flag doesn't update to show this. If the atmosphere is changed, the planet keeps its old bitmap. Although if you select the planet, the icon in the ship list window is displayed correctly.

Minimising the window doesn't redraw it, nor does ending the turn. But switching to another system (if you've explored that far) and back does.

Yeah, I've noticed this also. In my present game, I'm playing in a galaxy without warp points (in order to build up my tech before meeting any one else), I have max Atmospheric Converters and built them on all planets not my homeworld atmosphere type. I'm playing as a hydrogen breathing species. I get the news that such-and-such planet's atmosphere has been changed, however if I don't select said planet the bitmap for it is still the original atmospheric bitmap, and even when I select the planet, on the system map it is still the original bitmap.
