One-way treaty clause bug?

Ever notice that when the AI sends/amends a treaty, it comes through as "The [blank] will ... to the [our empire]"? Where instead of 'blank' it should be your empire name?

I've investigated a bit and I get the feeling the game ignores those clauses. I logged in as an AI who I had a "'Player empire' (left blank) gives all sensor information to 'our empire'" and it wasn't getting my sensor information. It had no idea that I have a ship in its home system, never mind what my own systems look like. It doesn't give me tech in its "'our empire' gives tech to 'blank'" clause.

This is a rather old bug/phenomena but only now do I realise that this lack of naming me actually breaks the clause itself. Is this bug known or does it need reporting?

The game does ignore these clauses, because they are not with any empire - hence the missing name.

Is it something modders can fix though? Or is it an Aaron-only bug? The only time I can specify myself in a one-way clause is when I start a fresh treaty.

It's a script fix.

It's a significant bug when you try to set up a "you give me all your tech and I'll give you 50% of my resources every turn" treaty and it just doesn't work - my resources get sent off somewhere each turn which don't arrive at the other empire and they don't send tech to me.

I only noticed the empire name display issue have not seen any problems with the implementation of the clauses.
