Entire Fleet Changes Side. |

Now I'm all for some random events, but what on Gods (whatever diety you worship) green earth (tera firma) makes a whole fleet of 30 ships defect to the other side? That's like the whole 8th airforce saying hey lets work for Iran.... It just isn't possible, but wait my whole Alpha Fleet went to work for that annoying bug race.
They should all die horrible suck into the vaccum of space deaths.

Re: Entire Fleet Changes Side.
Wow. I didn't think that fleets could be chosen for defection. Perhaps I should look over the event and intel scripts again.

how did i miss this one?
Actually, i have to disagree.
Part of why the US military is structured as it is now is to Discourage exactly that kind of thing...
a civil war lesson.
But a longer historical one.
it's actually WAY more likely for a revolt to come from a top-down. would 1 ship revolt if it had to look at a fleet? 1 ship by itself maybe?
everyone, the romans in particular, had problems with armies following their CO - its a risk having a semi-autonomous power like that.
in fact: in Medieval total war, if you WANT to force a revolt, you put a leader in charge of a big force, further from the capital...
That is such a cool event it makes me want to play Se5 again!
awwww, peekatchu, i choose you!
