Hello, I am one of those unfortunate souls who has discovered SE5 so late! I have purhased a download version with 1.2 already installed. Unfortunatly have been unable to install 1.25 despite several reinstalls... I will appriciate any suggestions please.
Also a quick question. Do the starting tech points are for human created empires only or for AI empires as well.

Selcuk, could you re-post the second question, please?
we could look in the manual but it's not been updated.. I'm curious myself how that really works out, particularly with the mods, i consider it a valid-worth-repeating question.
My copy btw is steam 9its version 1.25)and seems to work, well, much better than it did. Fighters no longer crash my system.
Do you REALLY think you will subvert System Vampyre before it subverts YOU?

no every one gets them just try an all tech game and you will find that the AI empires are maxed out as well.

I thought alltech games were player only. I never see the computer get any of the extra techs..or maybe it is not using them right???

they are all maxed its just that the AI dosent use some of them but it does have them.

The problem is known but the solution is "wait and see ...". The game developper will release a latter patch for compatibility with this version.
The digitalriver.com stuff is the downloadable retail version of SEV. I've downloaded the 1.20 version too and I can't patch to 1.25 too.
So, wait is the only solution

Hi, I have been informed by Aaron, that the patch does not support digital downloads, and Strategy First is expected to update it by the end of next week for those. Hopefully in future there will not be two week time difference between the digital and normal versions.

if you got it over steam you´ll have to wait till they distribute a patch, the normal patch doesn´t work on the steam version.
