Description
Playing Space Empires IV I used to track many in-game events, plans, etc... with the system notes, so I thought that SEV would have a better interface to edit them (I couldn't use carriage returns in SEIV notes till I discovered Control-M, thanks to the FAQ in the old forums). What I couldn't imagine is that in SEV notes you can't do something as simple as MOVING THE CURSOR to the position you want, so if you write five sentences and want to change something in the first one, you have to delete all the others and write them again! You can't select text either, nor cut/copy/paste it, etc...
This also happens in many textboxes in the UI, like the rename ship box, name design box, select colony type, etc... I put this in bug report category and not in feature request because I think it is so basic that I can't understand how it haven't been mentioned before (I didn't find anything in a forum/issue search)
