Security Key Problem |
I purchased the Download version of SEIV Deluxe some time ago. I get the following message after a graphiccard change.
The security key for this program currently stored on your system does not appear to be valid for this version of the program. Select Yes to enter a new key, or No to revert to the default setting (if any).
How do I get a new security key?

If your copy is a pirated version, well then that explains it. If you purchased it directly from SFI, then contact their customer support. They can determine if your copy's serial key has been compromised. However, you should know that a lot of people have claimed to have purchased a downloaded version, because that is what the INFO says to do on the pirated BT version, in order to con a good serial number out of SFI and SFI is fully aware of this. So if I were you, I would contact them directly to resolve the issue.

..AT, you are aware that SFI's security key system is a bit buggy, right? Remember the incident where Stafury got de-authorized because someone added RAM to their system? This looks like the same thing.

I recall about the SK bugs. I just wanted to point out for all to see that there are other causes as well and those causes are known to SFI.

Not certain but if its the steam version I would contact Value who run steam as they are the ones with the registery database
