How do I find a vertex's x, y, z position?!?!?
i need to find it for weapon firing points!
But since i cant find it, i'll just ask the forums, and wait a few hours, or days, until someone reads this thread......

Load the .x into an appropriate 3d modeler program. The center of the model will be 0,0,0 - so just place your cursor on the desired firing point and you'll see the co-ordinates of that point - which will be the ones you want to use.

This thread over at Spaceempires.net has a few potential programs: http://www.spaceempires.net/home/ftopict-1342.html

There's also more modeling stuff in that forum as well you may want to look at...
