5000 point game racial picks

What do you select ? I take :
1) Ancient race so I can colonize the entire quadrant without tedious exploration.
2) Emotionless so I get no riots.
3) Temporal for space yards twice as fast as normal (or more).
4) Deeply religious for Nature Shrine.
5) Organic for Replicant center population growth.

Society type is politicians for assimilation, happiness and trade.

Can you suggest based on experience a better combination to end the game by turn 150, year 2415 ? Target 150-200 million points.

I just started a new game because I had picked propulsion rather than religion then discovered from examining the script that anything less than a good planet will cause my alien populations to lose loyalty and eventually revolt. So in the next game I intend to convert all planets to optimal before that problem occurs.

Racial Points Picks

I like to go with Natural Merchants as that cuts out building space ports which saves time, a build slot and resources for other facilities. I go with Propulsion for that extra movement point. I've found the Hardy Industrialist to be very helpful in building stuff quicker. I like the Organic Techs for their use of organics over minerals as that helps cut down ship build times. The Religious Techs are great for spiffing up colonies, systems and ships for building and combat.

I'm at year 30.5 against 5 hard, max-bonus team-mode AI's generating 1.75 million intel points. Luckily I'm generating over 25 million. I've got 135 million victory points with a population over 1.17 trillion! I'm generating 69 million tons of resources and have storage of over 50 million tons.

That Nature Shrine really helps get planets to optimal, but I also toss in a climate control facility to ensure I get there quicker. Those optimal conditions help spur population growth. The Value Improvement plant helps get those resources up to the max 250% level.

Racial Points Pick

Organic plus Religious seem to get the biggest bang for your points.
Organic components allow you to flesh out your ships and weapons platforms with a balance of mineral and organic costs, allowing one to maximize production speeds.
Religous allows all kinds of improvements.
The other ones have their advantages but at the cost of production speed.

Too bad the religious powers got toned down in SEV. No more automatic hits. With the ToHit problems the game is having, one might as well be spitting at their opponents.

By experience I know this isn't true. Then again, also by experience I know that putting some troops down on a planet make population happy. Whatever I conquer the people are always Jubilant for me and at 90+% (mostly 99~100%) Loyalty as I don't take away the 10~20 troops that originally conquered the colony.
