dumb question on installing the balance mod

the dumb question is:
how do you do it? the instruction in the readme
file says unzip it into the SEV gamestyle folder.
does that mean put it in the sev folder and then
unzip it. what is a "gamestyle folder"? i have
done more or less what it said (all 3 lines) in the
instructions but no joy. how do you get it to work?
i appreciate the mod and the work that goes into it
and others but programmers must remember that alot
of us do not share their skills or even basic knowl
edge of how to operate programs. we plug the disc
in and play. i find no way to type in the mod and
its does not show up anywhere in the setup. i do
not want to get into another 200 turn game after 2
days and find out i am still fighting (well talking
too) the current benign AIs. Real specific install
instructions for all levels of computer users should
be used (I have used comps for over 25 years but do
not know how to program still, i am from a more
primitive era..LOL!) thanks!
