Non-agression treaties doesn't work |
Situation:
Simultaneous mp game, SEV 1.16 and Balance Mod.
what happen:
Player A and B have a non agression treaty AND mutual defense, C and B non aggression.C and A have no treaty.
Fleets of A and B are located on the same place. C attacks the point, and opening combat.
In combat mode A and B open fire on each other, after C arrives he also attacks both fleets.
I aspected, that A and B doesn't fire on each oter.
How can i fix this, or is this a real bug?
SEV 1.16 never a public build
Quick note the latest version of SEV is 1.20 by the way.
The important thing with treaties in SEV is not what they are called but the clauses in them. Check that the clauses in each treaty to work out what the treaty should do and how it should cause the races to interact. There are usually several versions to each clause and you may find A is required to do something B is not

I figured that was a typo for v 1.17.... but there is a newer version out, lol. Forgot about that.

the correct Version is 1.17 and Balancemod 1.00
Empire A and B has a Non-aggression (Allow colonization in each other systems) and Mutal Defense pakt (Empire will assist each other ..)
Empire A and C has a Non-aggression (Allow colonization in each other systems)pakt.
2 Ships from Empire A and 1 Ship from Empire B are in the same Sektor. Empire C attacked the Sektor.
The Combat started and all Empires shot at each other, so the non-aggression threaty are ignored in the combat.
I don't found a info in the Changelog from 1.18-1.20, so i think its not fixed.

What level of nonagression, and mutal defense?
Could it be "non agression in nuetral systems" and A and B could fight with eachother?
Otherwise, that does sound like a bug.
