Shipset Arackterra

My first shipset for the insectoid Arackterra.

This rar-file contains:

flagset
racep prtraits
complet shipset supporting different textures for
normal and
organic ships

tested with SEV 1.08 and i suppose it will work with 1.17 also. I would appreciate any constructive comments.

Very nice looking. I like the organic texture better than the regular one, so I'd have the organic trait whenever I used this shipset Sticking out tongue Everything looks very nice tho Good job!

Line missing

In the AI.main.txt file there is the following line missing:

Empire Name := Arackterra

This gives an error message if you want to add a new empire in the game setup.

Thank you Qcontinuum for the hint. I forgot the changings in the AI-Scripts with 1.17 ^^
I uploaded a corrected version.

1. extract the rar-file -> you get a new folder "Arackterra"
2. copy this folder to ...\Space Empires V\Empires

finished ^^

First of all, great shipset Smiling

Second, some ai observations: I just ran a small testgame and after a couple of turns I took control of the arackterra, it seems like the AI was not doing anything at all, there were no shipdesigns and there was no research being done at all. can anyone confirm?

That wonders me. I stole the AI skripts from an other stock race for simplisity (as some perhaps realised by reading the AI-files). So expect from the hull names there shouldn't be any more differences to a stock rase.

Have anyone a explanation?

Btw. until now the Arackterra are not supposed to be played by the AI. My primary intention was a shipset for player use not for the AI ^^.

Oh I found the reason:
AI Main.txt
AI Script File := Arackterra\Arackterra_Main_Script.csf
AI Script Empire Setup File := Arackterra\Arackterra_Setup_Script.csf

So you see copy paste is not the best modding technik. These Scripts don't exist so i suppose if you change them to existing ones the AI will do something.

I am sorry for these bugs and I will correct them as soon as possible.
