Description
I hae not seen anything in the patches that fix mine bugs, so I'll list what I've found.
1. Mines can be scrapped, like a ship, when a spaceyard is present. Is that intentional?
2. Mines cannot be self destructed. Mines cannot be fired on by owner's ship and destroyed. Both of these features VehicleUnitTypes.txt says mines has.
3. More than 100 mines can be deployed per sector by the same empire. Again, this conflicts with VehicleUnitType.txt.
I am assuming these glitches may not be related to just mines, but other units as well. In SE4 this would not be such a problem as in SE5, where units costs maintenance and mines cannot be relocated once deployed.
Updates
Mines can be picked up (and later reused) using the transfer cargo option (not the recover units one).
