Hello. I thought that it might be interesting for us all to make some posts of our current and past situations in the game in what ever style you'd like; such as short posts, elaborate explanations, and even "novel-like stories".
Feel free to post information regarding your empire also, in order for us to visualize and imagine better.
Click on "Empires" button then "Our Empire Report" button. You can post any of your empire's descriptions.
Then right click on your little race portrait there. You can post any of your race's descriptions.
Also, you can post the race portrait and the empire ship style you are using.

Were at war with a nearby empire called the independent planets commonwealth, whom up until now I was trying to get in the alliance but they are a buffer to my real opponents, so they needed to die or join. My home system was right next to the Dklar Empire and after some negotiating we quickly signed a treaty of co-operation... for now.... The alliance is based on score level to votes and as the Dklar are weak, I have all the say in what we do 
I'm running a quick test game to see how my AI's are doing at present, I have 3 custom ones in and they are the strongest opponents currently, I am letting them grow before I fight them.
Their names are the:
Tarsus Federation of United worlds - Heavily diplomatic AI, they have treaties with most of the races I have encountered. A very heavy research orientated race. Though they are not as strong as the...
Rimworld Coalition of Anarchic States - Diplomatic but Neutral AI, not much different to the Tarsus but slightly less tolerant and more isolationist, they have a stronger focus on defense than research.
Valexi Confederation -
A shadowy empire veiled in secrets, energy beings able to change shape and texture at will.
A New AI I am working on, making it much more intel based than the others, a unique challenge if I can get it right. Their Intelligence operations are their politics and they will overwhelm most empires in that regard. (I hope!)
Average Score is 2 million, my AI's are around 4 and I am 6.
I will fight the biggest and see how they react, then reset shortly and tweak some values that need doing, specifically their research order and have ANOTHER go at getting the order they colonise planets in... ripping my hair out with that one 
But yeah there almost ready for release, if only I had a shipset or two to put them but I am working on that slowly.

I have treaties with three major empires. A fourth minor,The Eyedu Federation, will not accept my non-agression propasals. I've offered a few. The second and third they have ignored.
In systems on the other side of their system are planets ripe for me to colonize. They now are attacking individual scouts that enter. Earlier they did not.
I think I will offer one more treaty, with say me giving a 5% tribute to them, (my empire is very rich). If they refuse I may start making demands. The growth of my empire compared to others is at stake. If they refuse the demands then I may have to become a warlord. We'll see.
