Tactical Space Combat |

Quick question. When a ship in tactical combat has auto-move and auto-target on, ships chase other ships by moving to their current location. Is there any way to change this so that ships will chase ships by moving to the targets intended location? My ships will actually follow a ship just out of firing range when they could easily overtake the ship (my ships have a higher combat speed) This happen to anyone else? I usually have to take control of my ships and give them orders to move ahead so they'll go faster. This isn't much of a problem but within more ships or even strategic combat this could extend fight times and cause different fight outcomes.
I wish you could set the
I wish you could set the strategies of captured enemy craft. They all seem to be set for "optimal firing range", or worse. I don't want my captured enemy carriers fleeing from the fight. I want them to PREPARE FOR RAMMING SPEED!

Strategies
A) There is no way to tell the "intended destination", only direction.
B) Try setting your ships default strategy to point blank, that might solve your problem.
