Space Empires V General
I'm playing the tutorial on the demo. There is an enemy planet I've tried to conquer but when I launch an attack the attack sequence ends after only about 20 seconds, not enough time to reach the planet. The enemy has two structures but no population left on the planet, in fact he according to the 'Empires Screen' he has no population left at all. What puzzleds me in that I can't invade, send a colony ship or transfer population there. Is there any way that I can claim the planet?

Hmm not sure what to suggest

Hmm not sure what to suggest then, post it as a bug under "PROJECTS AND DOWNLOADS" and then "ISSUES" also include a zip file of the saved game.

You need to have troops in a
You need to have troops in a ship and launch them to take the planet.
The game has an intelligent way (sort of like military intelligence
) to decide when combat is over, this is to stop combat dragging on for ever, if there is no valid threat to anything then it just cancels the combat.
A planet with no population is regarded as no threat, and unless you are actively attacking it with troops or bombardment weapons it thinks you can't hurt it (even thou you could kill it) so it ends the combat.
Just make sure you tell your troop ship to luanch troops at the planet before you start the combat.
