Is there a manual yet?

Do not think there is one for the demo. Let's just hope there is one for the full game.

There is a manual for SEV at the SE Wiki that everyone is encourage to participate to help write. Help us create a manual for Space Empires V at the SE Wiki here:

it would appear you do have to be at least a smidge html savvy to edit the Wiki.

I like paper manuals as you can take them with you places and read at slow moments in the day.
Now, a Strategy Guide would be very nice.

A game this complex could definitely use a Strategy Guide.
It would only be a basic guide, since players are always coming up with new ideas.
That is one reason I like this site.

To be serious though, it would be kind of hard. I don't know about the rest but I generally react differently to every situation, I don't think i've ever made the same move twice.

What u talking about, I make the same move all the time. Crush, Destroy, Maim, Kill. With extreme pregeduice, or however the heck you spell that word.

Sometimes I get this urge to conquer large parts of Europe.

The game comes with a 80 page paper manual and a 300 page pdf manual. The PDF manual has screenshots and information about each part of the interface and menu's.

Sounds like this would be a good opportunity for somebody to set up some sort of SEV Wiki site, so that everyone in this SE community can add to it, and beef it up with whatever statistics, tips, strategies, etc., that everyone would find useful.

i.e. You don't like the manual? Let's have everyone write our own!
