Biggest game problem in the beginning

Submitted by Lord_KiRon on Fri, 2006-11-24 16:58. Space Empires V General

Well the biggest game problem in the beginning is a combat.

Both tactical and strategic combat have one huge problem at the beginning of the game :

- Let's say you started a combat , the game is fresh as well as your skills as a gamer Smiling so the ship you have is very primitive , your opponent's ships in no different so after 2-3 fire rounds you both out of ammo but combat is continue to go on and on ... moreover even if you run time as fast as you could and combat finally finished the next round start and this several times ...

Makes game extreamly unpleasant Sad
Same goes for simulator with such underpowered ships - there is no button to stop this useless combat - just wait and wait and wait ...

Stop simulator combat

There's a stop button in the simulator. It's one of little icons on the top left of the middle info box if that helps. Sticking out tongue

Simulator combat can be stopped with the little grid button. Real combat, well, it's the real deal. When I encounter this kind of situation, then perhaps today *IS* a good day to die! RAMMING SPEED!

Well "ramming speed" is not

Well "ramming speed" is not always what I want , especially when my ship is better and more powerfull.

Btw: Captain Kwok thanks for tip with simulator , but that's not main problem.
