Fighter recovery hangs game

Description

Attached is a file where a single carrier in my home system attachs a single enemy ship. After the combat (tactical only as strategic is busted as I submitted earlier), my carrier is in the same space as the fighters. Why I try and recover the fighters, a message screen pops up that says "Ship XXXXX cannot recover units from space". At that point, the mouse and music still work but the game is frozen. None of the controls work including the close button on the screen that had just popped up. I had to Alt-Tab out and end the process. Attached is the save game where it can be recreated.
