Kamikaze ships don't work |

Description
Kamikaze ships seem to chase down the enemy ship and then just circle around. I had one move to the same spot as the enemy ship, but then it didn't try to explode. It looked like it was trying to ram the other ship but nothing happened.
Auto or manual order?
Was the ship on auto or was it a manual order?
