Even more demo problems

It's really not my day. I decided to build some basic satellites with Tachyon scanners and a level 1 gun. I built 2 at each colony and launched them from each colony. Now, I can't Recover the satellites back onto the planet, and can't destroy them (Satellite groups) because there's no Ship Yard present. Anyone have any ideas, comments or suggestions?

Sigh. I selected the planet and opened the Fleet Orders. I moved one satellite from the Satellite group to the ground (back into cargo), but the game crashed to desktop when I tried to remove the 2nd (and last) satellite from the group. Maybe it didn't like me removing the satellite before transferring all the supplies and ordnance from the Group.

Both those problems are bugs that have been fixed since the demo was released. Wrokaround: use Transfer Cargo (T) instead of Launch.

The demo is two patches behind the main game and has some bugs in it long since fixed because of that. The demo will no doubt be updated but for obvious reasons the main game comes first as the demo does manage to demo the game after all.
