stats screen question

i was looking in the empire stat menu and i noticed that it said ships created (in this current game) 28 alive 14 and lost 14

but i havent lost any i just upgraded those ships how can i mod that so it has an upgraded section and not show them as lost cuz that annoys me and i dont know how many ships i rally lost

some help plz Smiling
