Map creation in 2 steps. |
I think map creation should be in 2 steps, the first part should be just quick placemnt of the star locations and the connections, then later when you push start game, it should finish the map. This would take a little longer after you push start. but it would let you go through a bunch of map creations to find the one you want to play on. What do you think? Would this be possible?

Good idea
I agree with this idea. In SE:IV, map creation went really fast on my computer, so I was able to make a lot of maps till one felt like a good map. Now, it takes so long it doesn't feel worth the wait.
