avoid alliances (v.1.13) |

the thing is that the game hangs while "processing
after all player turns"... and its not coming back... when loading the autosave after restarting the game it was able to end the turn but displayed the message "unaible to save", in that state the game also isnt able to load any savegame
like mentioned in an other thread, that seems to happen, when you are in an alliance and there are proposals, wich are voted and passed during turn-calculation....
I formed an Alliance with an AI empire and the AI made proposals to add every known Empire(regardless of realationships it seems) ... after the errors happend I loaded a savegame and left the alliance instead of voting... in the next turn the alliance still existed with the one AI member and after passing to the next turn I got the "unaible to save" message and the one AIempire invited all he other empires into his alliance...(not all joined cause of there relationship)
AND in the next turn I was voted back in that alliance by the AI! ...without giving me a choice to decline that!
then I wanted to check the Alliance.Chamber but the game crashed to desktop ... shall I use the save memory-method? but that just a video-option, isnt it?
...there are several things that cameinto mind wich could cause all that... but I prefer to avoid forming any alliance and hopefully other alliances formed only by AI players arn't causing that problem.... I will see...
when I was in the Alliance with the one AI empire I noticed the Alliance is displayed among the other Empires as if I am not part of the alliance, cause it seems like I can send messages and threatys to my own-alliance, that cant be right? ...also the threaty I had with that AI empire right before forming the alliance was still intact bypassing rules defined by the alliance-rules... but in the alliance-chamber there are no options to view the member Empire status status anymore(so the threaty still intact is not displayed anywhere)

but I took the time cause I really love that game...
If you never played SE1 to SE4 and SE.V is the first you got to know....
let me say, that game plays and feels just perfect, among the other space-sims!
hopefully it will soon work as it is intended to do!
btw. in version 1.08 the game reapeted the same music track again and again... you had to change musicvolume to 0% and back to 100% to get it change to thenext track
I think I didnt red about that in the changelogs
1.09 to 1.13...?
if you want to boost your gaming experience even more I recomend to let winamp play the music.tracks from eve.online ... they are very good produced and so spacy and relaxing... real space-sim-music (all tracks are downloadable at the eve.online site for free !)

I think I was the other poster with this problem...
My game was a 1.08 game with an alliance already. I have not started again and tested alliances under "pure" 1.13.

btw. if you have a treaty like transfering all techs between empires... you get a message every turn you develop a new tech-level, about the OTHER empire transfering the required techs to YOU, but instead all the techs you achieved, those YOU are transfering to the other empire, are displayed (as communication-message)
the ones you got from the other empire are displayed
as your own research achievments (as research-message)
