Pirates & Ninjas

So, anyone remember SJ's Pirates & Nomads mod for SE4? Well, nomads don't quite work in SE5 since there's no remote research/intel generation, but no matter - just replace them with ninjas! Laughing out loud

Here's my changelog so far - I branched this off of Balance Mod v1.16 in case you were wondering Eye-wink

1. Added - Pirates, Ninjas, and "Anarchistic" racial traits. (Anarchistic is required to take Pirates or Ninjas, and prevents the construction of colonizers.)
2. Added - Space Piracy and Ninjutsu racial techs (each with 5 levels).

Happy Resistant Breeders ..

Hi ..

I have a question for the pros ..

How are the races abilities for Environmental Resistance, Happyness and Reproduction interact with each other .. especially with empire creation in mind.

I found a nice min/maxing guide for se4 by fyron on the net and I ask myself .. do this descriptions fit SEV or does it differ in some way ?

Environmental Resistance: Every 5 percent in this trait raises or lowers planetary Reproduction Rates by 1%. This is a min-maxers wet dream, as you can get tons of free points with no averse effects at all. Each full 5% lowered drops RR by 1%. Lowering ER by 4% has no effect at all. 100 free points. If you drop ER to 81 and then raise Reproduction to 103, you get default Reproduction Rates, and 400 free points! If you drop it to 51 and raise Reproduction to 109, you get default Reproduction Rates and 565 free points! There are minor effects on happiness, but they can be offset with the Berzerker culture.

Assistance in Mod: Jurain Race

I followed anime for a bit (refers to the parody of his username) One thing I would like to spearhead was a creation of three varations of the Jurain empire, a empire based from tenchi Muyo. My programming skills are zero though but if someone is able to create a mod design that would be great, actually kind of essential as I would be stuck and if i could produce anything it would be a black line on MS paint.

On my part, I asked some friends on the tenchi related board if they can do some refrences of the ships and bases and see if that person is able to mimic as much as possible of that design etc. I have race potraits sorted and once their drawn i'll leave it to that said person to adjust.

Consumer Confidence Index Idea

So what do you guys think of a CCI being added to the game. What it would effect in game would be as follows:
1. Effect Happiness
2. Effect Production of resources, low decrease production rate and high increase it
3. If Low, increase the amount of accidents on planets
The CCI could be base on each of the planets following values:
1. Building types
2. POP happiness level
3. Amount of stuff in queue list
4. Empire resource surplus amount, Too much would be bad for productor
5. Ship in planet sector, sailor always spent money in port of call.
