Space Empires V GeneralI have now got the full game and have it installed with the latest patch and the BM mod + BM update for the latest patch. Having a look through the various nooks and crannies I cam across the ministers and now I am wondering if I turn them on but do not enable them on a unit/s do they have any affect in the game? I have had a read of Captain Kwok's minister's page which is very enlightening. I am presuming that I enable a minister and from then on the unit does as per the minister's desire. If I do not enable the minister on a unit it does only as ordered by me? If a ship is under a ministers order then does it show me what it is doing etc? » read more | 5 comments |
Knowing too much about most thingsSubmitted by Teddy Bär on Sat, 2008-04-05 20:11. Space Empires V GeneralI am hoping there is a way to disable certain information as outlined below. Knowing the exact value of a planets resources the second I see it from space Would prefer to only know the resources of a planet after I colonise it or explore it somehow. This takes away from the 4x feel. Sure there is more as I get further into the game. Cheers, Teddy Bär |
Saved Empires still unusableSubmitted by CP1985 on Sat, 2008-04-05 20:46. Bug ReportsThere is a major bug with colonies showing as colonizable when in fact they are not. The bug only occurs with a saved empire. I saved a computer generated empire, edited the tech to allow it be used in a low tech game. It seems that even this doesn't work correctly. Saved Empires are still unusable. None of the empire's design name files show up as well unless you copy it to the folder. |
