Invasion! Beta 0.60 Released

Beta 0.6 marks a large step for the mod with the addition of complete working AI for normal and monster races. It also does a fair ammount of monster balacing to address issues that had shown up in the now defunct pbw games I was running. Multiplex tracking has been changed a bit, all hulls have a base tracking ammount this ammount can only be increased by turning over control of the ship to a Master Computer. Also I have tried to push each hull size closer to having a more specific role.

As usual the mods needs Image Mod and Sound Mod to work properly

SE5 with sava problems

Why i can't save my game in the windows Vista operating system,the game doesn't seem to function properly,version 1,71 from direct2drive?Game says:can't create folder to save.Game worked fine with Windows XP.Game seems also stuck in first turn.Help!

Hi, guys... I'm from Ukraine and speak English badly, but I like SE5 and I am upset about dumb SE5 AI... I searched for SE5 players in Ukraine but nothing was found.. I want to ask you... How can play several men from different countries without miscomprehensions?

I'll play with pleasure but this thing disturbs me very much

AI dev's need your infinite wisdom...

Hi,

2 questions,
1. If I modify the amount of crew needed for each ship size type, how will that affect the AI?
ie, will the AI be able to cope with it, adding life support up to the correct amount? Or would it require AI changes?

2. Is there a way to add crew needs to individual components and how would that affect the AI?
EG,
Frigate = 0 crew needs
Meson Blaster = 4 crew needs
engine = 2 crew needs etc
So you build a frigate with Bridge(5 crew), 12 engine (24 crew), 2 Meson Blasters (8 crew), 2 Cap ship missiles (20 crew) = total crew needs = 57
