UI Mod: Division of LightSubmitted by SevenDeadlySins on Thu, 2008-02-21 10:21. SE:V MODsOk. I made this post last night, but it didn't take. Second time round. This started off as a side project, for my own personal enjoyment. But it's officially now a mod. It's an alternative to Dark UI Mod, aptly called Division of Light. It will be a complete re-design of the SEV UI, not a simple recolor. As I make progress, I will post it here. First off, I need input. Now, I've decided to start off with all of the larger elements of the UI, such as the alliance and colony management panels; to establish the uniform look and feel. It will be just as the mod name suggests; A clean, bright, hi tech feel. I do all my own renders in either 3D Studio MAx, Mojoworld or any number of other programs. Game-Breaking v1.66 BugSubmitted by Atomizer4 on Thu, 2008-02-21 17:31. Space Empires V GeneralI've pointed this out before when the 1.66 patch first came out and sent a report to Malfador, but nobody seemed to notice. When I save a game in which some ships are cloaked, then later load that game, all of the cloaked ships become uncloaked. I've tested this on two different computers and got the same result. I don't know whether this was caused by 1.63 or 1.66, because I upgraded straight from 1.58. This is a real problem for me, because I make extensive use of cloaked satellites and ships to observe the other empires. Could somebody confirm this with their game? |

Tweaked the drones to become either missle pods or recon drones, and diversified the missle types. And added in all the other weapons, AMBAM, AFHAWK, Hetlasers, and Primary Beams! Just a couple of quick notes about playing the beta, Racial Techs have been taken out (but can easily be reinserted by adding the Techs back into the racial traits document I haven't balanced them yet). Secondly to get the higher level engines you don't need to research the older versions. Ion Propulsion is unlocked by Physics level 2, and Grav Drive is under Astrophysics 2, then Antimatter Warheads level 2. » read more | 4 comments |
