However, I think I have found an error in it: it seems to indicate that Centralized Computer Systems is revealed with Construction level 3. but in my first game, I have just researched Construction 2 and, when I examine Level 3 in the research window, it doesn't say anything about next allowing Centralized Computer Systems research. This is confirmed in the user manual which indicates that you need Industry level 3. Because I can't figure out how to use the "everyone can see all tech levels" feature (its on, but how do you use it?!) I just want to confirm that i need level 3 Industry. » read more | 6 comments |
Component image collection?Submitted by LordDemon on Mon, 2008-02-11 09:27. SE:V MODsIs there a image collection for SEV, like there was for SE IV? Or is one planned? I would like to try making a mod, but I would prefer some extra component images, as my own skills making them are near zero. So, does there exist some handy collection of pictures, or are there plans to make one? Any help for those of us who have no image handling skills? |

Space Empires V FAQsI played Space Empires IV a great deal, and I got very good at navigating the menus and controls to get exactly what I wanted from the game. One of the nice things about SE4 was that all the information I needed was available when I needed it. The menus were clean and functional and allowed precise control over a large empire. I finally bought SE5 and it seems like everything takes three times longer to do, the information screens have so little actual data on them that I constantly have to flip between three screens to get the information that was previously available on just one screen. I feel like this is the Windows Vista version of Space Empires. » read more | 6 comments |
