Space Empires V FAQsOne of the features in SE4 was certain techs were capped at relatively low levels (like projectile weapons maxing at lvl-5 iirc). Where can I find the max levels for each tech in SEV? I would not like it if I invested resources in 10 levels of DUCs when the 50 levels of pea-shooters will always be a better choice? BTW, I am not a coder/modder, and trying to make sence of txt files generally gives me a headache Thanks. |

Space Empires V FAQsI'm a fan of the Star-Fire series, and I'm attempting to mod the game to fit a little more closely with that feel. One of the more interesting details of that universe is the concept of closed warp points. Warp points that cannot be detected by normal sensors at all, the only way to find them is to literally run into one. So my question is, how would I go about replicating this? I'm guessing the closest approximation that I could do would be to give them the cloaked ability but I'm not quite sure how to go about that. Other mods I'm considering are adding some new components. Boxed Launchers: I'm thinking along the lines of a rocket pod that can only be placed on the outer hull and has great damage but a dismal reload rate. » read more | 19 comments |

When I see play a game with the code all I see after I research all of them is the following: ICE,ROCK,GAS,AND ROCK/ICE. My race is rock by default and this is from my own little MOD. I think the problem maybe from the "Requirements Evaluation Availability, Requirements Evaluation Allows Placement, Requirements Evaluation Allows Usage" I don't fully understand them yet.
