Space Empires V Multiplayerlooking to play multiplayer using hamachi or manual file trans or anything else for that matter. but i prefer stock. i don't really care for balance mod. just looking to play the stock game. new at multiplayer. if your interested all warp points connect, starting home planets 3 or 5, not sure. tech: medium, no computer players. |

Space Empires V GeneralWhen you have damaged fighters that are carrier based, will the carriers repair them like our navy carriers do in RL, or is a repair ship/component required to do the work? Also since a shipyard is not required to be present on a planet to build fighters, will those same planets be able to repair the fighters they built? Assume that the fighters have all landed from battles fought for repair purposes. SE:V MODsYea i want to make peace with an empire but i don't know how , when i go to to the politc options i don't see cease fire agreement , The AI playar did propose me a cessation of hostilities and i refused but the next turn i wanted to do the same and I couldn't see the cease fire option, so what must I do exactly to end the war ? Iin the politcs window what choices to make ?) |

We did a quick multiplayer TCP/IP game over the weekend at a LAN party, but want to get a game going where we don't all have to be online at the same time. I know you can do manual file transfers via email etc, but I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to keep the game moving quickly? Of course, ideally I'd like to have an automated process that did all the file transfers and turn processing running on a server somewhere, but I'm guessing such a thing doesn't exist - please let me know if I'm wrong. » read more | 3 comments |

(I'm playing Unnamed Mod w/ 1.66 patch, though I notice this is also a quirk in the stock game.) A little background first. I'm playing the Romulan Star Empire, and have amassed a modest little empire. It's a later stage game, and the galaxy has evolved into a nice little group of five empires. Myself, the Xiati Empire, Norak Continuum (Eee) Temmeth Protectorate and the Athichox Consortium. Early in the game, the Eee and I hit it off, and I formed the Romulan Star Alliance. One by one, (eventually) all the other empires joined the Alliance. Over the course of the next 25 years, all but two proved to be unreliable allies, stirring up trouble with the other members. They would vote to remove fellow allies, make unfair demands, and exercise intelligence operations against allies. At my behest, they were removed, and all was well. The next five years proved quiet, and myself, the Norak Continuum and the Temmeth Protectorate peacefully governed our respective quadrants of the galaxy, while the others went to war. |

SE:V MODsI have been looking at the AI files (from BM) and I have added (copy paste) AI and changed it for an aggressive AI with high construction rates and a focus on Kamikaze and warheads. For testing this race how do I add him/it to a game. There is no selection to add a pre-created race, it just seems random on which races gets selected to play the game. For now I have just be altering the default aggressive scripts and selecting it when I create a race. |

Here's an example of what I'm doing. I'm working on a Space Empires III conversion, the SE III component Emergency Energy Pod increases every 2 levels in propulsion. How do I do this? |
