HELP !!! Lost my CD key during Transit..Submitted by ashbandy on Wed, 2008-01-02 01:34. Space Empires V GeneralHi, This is the first time for me on this Forum. Am in a 'BIIG SOUP'(a lot of trouble) !! First off, a bit of a background. I am in India. This game was a gift given to me by my brother, who's in the USA(since I'm a big fan of strategy games, and there are virtually no interesting strategy games in India). Now somewhere during transit, the CD KEY has been misplaced, and I just cant seem to find the DAMN thing. Now there's seems to be no way to get another CD key(have been searching the internet for the last couple of weeks). Is there absolutely any thing that can be done ? I'm even willing to buy a another copy of the same game (though I obviously prefer not to waste money getting the same thing obviously), but I dont have any way of buying it(in India that is, since they are not sold anywhere in India). |
Retrofit bug?Submitted by vbidez on Wed, 2008-01-02 05:21. Space Empires V FAQsI retrofited some ships to a new design, and after the ships were done repairing, I saw that the movement had been cut in half. It should have been 13 and it was now 6. Is this a bug? |

Adding mods to SEV dowloaded from STEAMSubmitted by Commander Klank on Wed, 2008-01-02 10:49. Space Empires V FAQsGreetings, I purchased SEV from STEAM and it downloaded the STEAM client onto my computer so I can play the game... The thing is I can't seem to find the SEV game folder (with the entire game in it) to apply any mods. STEAM has a file for SEV in it but it's not the entire game. I did a game back up but STEAM made a weird file that I can't open to install the game onto my hard drive. Anybody got any idea on if I can put mods into the STEAM version of this game? Balance Mod 1.12 - orange stars for warp points, nebulae etcSubmitted by davor79 on Wed, 2008-01-02 18:28. Space Empires V GeneralHiii all, Finally I've succumbed to using "a mod" after insisting on standard since buying SEV. As soon as I started a game I get all warp points replaced by large orange star images... is this part of the mod or am I missing something. I mean, it does not look cool. Am I supposed to mod it or what? The same occurs in places where I'm supposed to see nebulae and asteroid belts. Can you please confirm if this is a known bug perhaps, or purposely done. thanks, |

ground combat Fighters not having supplySubmitted by althumbs on Wed, 2008-01-02 18:46.This was a current game when i update to 1.66. I also using 1.12BM. This happens about 40% of my ground combat actions. All unist are the same design and 50% of my fighters retreat because of a lack of supplies. It is always 50% of the units. I mainly use just fighters for ground combat. So i can tell if this happens with ground units. |
