GUI program for editing AI scripts

Is anyone working on a program that will change/edit AI script files? The AI scripts are too complicated to try and edit for me. It would be nice to have a program that loads a mod, analyzes the data files and writes AI script files for them.

As of now I cant do what I want with my mod. Adding new vehicle sizes and changing the life support/crew quarters requirements. I want to change it so its based on tech level of life support/crew quarters but I dont have a clue how to do so. It would be nice if this program had the option of changing things like this.

Removing the Fog of War to speed up turn times?

Is this possible? I've been told that the fog of war is largely responsible for se5's long turn times. Setting the 'sight' options in the game setup to allow players to see everything doesnt seem to speed up turn times. Is the Fog of war hard coded? If not, could someone try removing it and let us know the results?

New Player with Quesitons

Hi, I just played the demo and got hooked. OK but there is one thing that is really stopping me from getting this game: AI. I am not a big multiplayer online person. So I often play singleplayer. I am not asking for AI that fights like Napoleon Bonaparte or Julius Ceasar. Just AI that puts up at least a decent fight and that can from time to time, or even more often, keep me on the ropes. But from what I have read on these boards the AI is dumb as dirt. Are there any mods that work with the latest patches which repair the AI and make it put up a half-decent fight?

Scenarios: How to?

How exactly does one go about making scenarios? I remember reading once that it had something to do with saved games, but so far I have had no such luck, not to mention races never spawn where I want them to.
