Hi, maybe i haven`t played enough with SEV but i would like to know if is it possible to change your goverment type after you´ve begun and how to do it.

Where did the Explorer and Scout design type go?

Just installed 1.66 and I don't see these design types. When were they removed? When i've got over a dozen explorers I prefer to have ministers automate them Sad

BM 1.12 Ministers arent working

Are they supposed to be functional? I tried creating empires with both aggressive and moderate minister types, but neither are functioning in BM 1.12.

Randomly distributed AI's?

is it possible to have the game randomly assign an ai to a race at random, instead of having them be set matches?

this would be handy for adding in extra shipset/empires.. if theres no AI script for them, the game would pick one of the existing ones and assign it to them.

New player - Question about maximum storage

I've just started my very first game, and I'm trying to figure everything out. One question that I have right now is about the Maximum Storage for the planet and excess production.

At the beginning of the game, my Treasury window says that I am currently producing +29,000 Minerals per turn, that I currently have 53,600 Minerals in storage, and that I have a Maximum Storage of 50,000 Minerals. Now disregarding the fact that I already have more than the maximum, which I am assuming is just a first turn oddity, my question is this.

I started a game with the Finite Resources option selected, so my planet only has a limited number of Minerals available. Now, if my planet already contains the maximum number of Minerals that it is capable of storing, and I am producing a net postive amount of Minerals each turn, is that excess production wasted? Is there a way to not produce excess Minerals if they are just going to be wasted?
