Data errors when loading DevNull mod

When loading ../data/settings.txt
Here is a screenshot:

That's on version 1.63 and 1.00. When used on 1.08, the AI is not working, they just stood there. The mod looks pretty good, so I'll appreciate ANY suggestions Smiling

Get_Design_Ability_Component_Count - does it work in Component.txt?

Can I have a component that requires there to be another component to be a valid design?

On a related note, does "Get_Design_Ability_Total" work too?

A few questions from someone who has never played this game

I've been hearing about this game for a long time now. I've really been wanting to play it but the complexity of the game is scaring me off.
I've played alot of "deep" strategy games before. I played Civilization 4 and I liked it(I like Civilization:Call to power more thought because it has more interesting units and way more options) . I also played galactic civilization but I found it very boring because it took me 50 turns for simple upgrades. right now im playing Medieval Total War 2 and Empire at war and I love them both (yeah I know, they are leagues away from real 4x games).
so I wanted to ask the fans of this game (which there seems to be MANY!) a few questions:

Multiplayer Chat

While playing with a local friend, I noticed a persistent problem with the in game chat window. Messages longer than 39 characters in length are reduced to 39 characters, and after a certain length I haven't discovered yet messages are lost entirely.
