What are your typical AI turn times?

I just timed the duration for the AIs to do their turns in the last game I was playing. 8 players including me. 4 of those 8 are Major Empires. There are about 40 star systems. The year was 2408.3 and the turn time was 3 minutes and 12 seconds. That's a long time to be looking at a progress bar. In an hour of playing rounding down to 3 minutes - assuming that time doesn't increase which it will, that's a full 20 minutes of staring at a loading bar.

My PC:
Pentium 4 3.00 GHz with hyperthreading
2 GB of quality RAM
nVidia GeForce 6800GT (256mb AGP 8x)
Sound Blaster Audigy Gamer
Windows XP Pro

Problem:
Yea I've made a simple mod for my own entertainment and whenever I enter into Research Menu while in game the game says "Invalid Floating Pointer Error" any idea what the problem could be???

Getting an Object's or Fleet's Current movement left???

Hey,

Is there a way to get a Object's or Fleet's current movement left??

I see a function for getting an space_object's max speed. Does this return its available movement whatever that is, or does it return its max conceivable speed assuming it has supplies and such (or before executing previous orders).

Also is there a function for getting a Fleet's max speed or current movement points left? (I havent seen one so far).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Okay, here is what I've got for the next version:

DONE:

AI is no longer in broad categories (Peaceful, Neutral, Aggressive). Each treaty field is tweaked individually for attractivness. All settings for treaty max anger, war min anger, etc, are set individualy.

The like/dislike mod for treaty elements is now a variable. In conjunction with above, can yield specific like/dislike for every treaty element.

AI now evaluates its own economic, military, and technological strength.

AI evaluates other empire's economic, military, and technological strength.

AI Mood towards the player is influenced by relative economic, military, and technological strengths, as well as trade percentage.

How are space objects numbered

Is there a system to how space objects are numbered? Such as planets first, ships and units second, etc.
