I've set up a new game, "Kwok's Cosmic Wars", for 6 players using Balance Mod v1.11. Game settings are flexible but I think probably easiest to restrict sets to stock ones. Players that join can post their shipset in this thread etc. |

I would like to know how (if possible) to create a game with specific pre-created race(s) (those from SE5\Empires\ dir). As I understood they got picked only when you select "create random AI players" option. But what if I would like to play only with, lets say, Abbidon race ? Thanks. |

Spaceyard bugSubmitted by Sany on Mon, 2007-10-29 10:37.In v1.58 is posible to build more then one spaceyard, but there is not possible to build normla and temporal spaceyard together. This is not critical, but little anoying. Hope to fix it soon. |

Space Empires V GeneralSo I have Balance mod, and I've downloaded a few extra races...which of course didn't work right away, so I tried to switch their main & setup scripts with the "default" examples from the Balance mod/empires folder. Still don't work...they just sit there not doing anything ingame, and their mood always reads "unknown". So what can I do to make these races work, is there a relatively simple (as opposed to rewriting the entire ai scripts) solution to make them work like they do (and yes, i tested this) in vanilla? Bal Mod 1.11 ProblemSubmitted by Harmonious Hegemony on Mon, 2007-10-29 16:02. Space Empires V GeneralI downloaded the BM1.11 to update a 1.10 game that I already had in progress. It ran a few turns seemingly fine, but now crashes with a "cannot find TDirect3DxFile.start - Cant find file" error when AI Player 5 starts his turn. This is repeatable. I did a file search and it doesn't look like such a file exists. I can't find any files with a .start extension. Help, ideas anyone? |
Ergie's map editorSubmitted by Tilarium on Mon, 2007-10-29 17:10. SE:V MODsI love Ergie's map creator but have one small problem with it and was hoping someone might have a solution. Is it possible to make it name planets right? Currently it names them XXX 1, XXX 2, etc instead of XXX I, XXX II. It also doesn't do moons and just names them like a regular planet. I think it numbers the astroids wrong too... I rarely pay attention to astroids so don't know if they are numbered with numbers or roman numerals in the game. I'm using version 0.3.4, I'm sure that plays a matter in this to. If there's a more up to date version can anyone point me to it? Kyle |
